Terms and Conditions: Online Tickets

1. Event Access
Your ticket grants you access to the film club page, which includes a live stream and interactive chat.
Upon purchase, you will receive a password required to join the event. This password is for your personal use and must not be shared.
2. Refund Policy
Tickets are refundable up to 24 hours prior to the event. Refund requests must be submitted to jaakko@jaakkoala.com by day before the event. After this period, tickets are non-refundable.
In the event of a technical failure or cancellation on the organizer’s end, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or alternative access to the event.
3. Technical Issues
The organizer is not responsible for technical issues on the attendee’s side, such as internet connection problems.
In the event of a technical failure on the organizer’s side, we will notify attendees and provide either a refund or access to the recorded event.
4. Privacy
Your personal information will only be used for ticket processing and communication regarding the event.
We do not share your information with third parties.
5. Prohibited Actions
Unauthorized sharing or redistribution of the event link or password is prohibited.
Violating this policy may result in removal from the event without a refund.
6. Event Content
All content shown during the event is the intellectual property of J.A. Films and cannot be recorded, distributed, or used without permission.

Payment Info: Online Tickets

1. VAT & TAX Information

• The payment recipient is a private individual (natural person). This transaction does not involve a registered business or company.
• Tickets include 10% VAT FI (§ 85 a of the Finnish VAT Act, which applies to admission fees for cultural, entertainment, and sports events, such as theater, circus, movie screenings, exhibitions, as well as amusement parks, zoos, and museums).
• For cultural or entertainment events provided online, the reduced VAT rate of 10% applies if the event qualifies as such under Finnish VAT law. See further details in the amendment 320/2024 to the VAT Act.

Note: Payments made to a private individual are considered personal income under applicable laws and do not imply the operation of a commercial business. The seller is responsible for ensuring compliance with Finnish tax regulations.
